I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Kathy. My sincerest sympathies to The Hammel Family during this difficult time. I remember the first time that I met Kathy, she was with Claudine & I was new to Somerset. Immediately, Kathy & Claudine made me feel welcome. After that, it was like I had known her a hundred years - that was just the way that she was. Kathy was a true gem. She was a dedicated worker who never sought praise or attention. Know that she has a left a giant hole...

To the Hammel family, I am sorry for your loss. Kathy was part of our family at Voss Lighting and will be missed dearly. She may have drawn a paycheck from Philips, but I looked at her as "working" for Voss as an advocate for us. When I got back to headquarters periodically, I always made sure to at a minimum to stop by and many times have lunch with her. She was always a joy to talk to and when she was away, many would notice her absence. She had a heart wanting to please those she helped....
