I have never met your mom but have heard so much about her from a lady who cared for her at some point...she was a sweet lady and loved God. May she rest in perfect peace...We'll see her one day...Be strong...

We were so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Please accept our deepest sympathies. Your mother was the last of her generation of Heuser's, so her passing is especially poignant.

Aunt Kay was one of the God's special people. My earliest moments of her as a child are her speaking to me like I mattered, really listening, and even as an adult sharing my own personal grief with me. Yet she was the model for "carrying on", no matter what happened. She taught me how to make cheese cake. I was a terrible baker, but she insisted I could make this cake because you did not bake it. (smile) It was made with Knox gelatin and I use that recipe to this day, always thinking of...
