Not sure what to say?

More than 10 years after her passing, I still think of Kathleen regularly. The adjectives and images that come to my mind every time I think of her include "optimistic", "encouraging", "outgoing", "thoughtful", "helpful", and "family-oriented" among others. The world is a better place because of her contributions during the time she was with us.

I'd like to say what a blessing Kathy was to me as a mentor and friend @ Transpo Industries. She exemplified professionalism, style, grace and above all, love. Even on they days she wasn't feeling well, she always had an encouraging word; I truly miss her!

I recently learned of Kathy's passing and was deeply saddened to hear the news. I will always remember her as a kind and cheerful person who welcomed me into her family as if I were her own son. I feel very fortunate to have known her and to have been a small part of her life. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Miss you, KJ, as a friend, coworker and vendor representative - you wore many hats in my life! You set such an excellent example with your sparkling personality in the workplace and a loyal friend on a personal level.

I had the pleasure to know Kathy through ITE, and her time at Coral Sales. Whe was an ardent supporter of many students, and became a friend to me, advising me on several big decisions, including encouraging me to go through Grad School in Civil Engineering. What a wonderful influence on my life and those that she came in contact with. She will be missed.

Kathy was a beautiful woman and a pioneer. She was a woman in transportation when there were very few women. I met her in my early career with ODOT when she was at Coral Sales. Her love of life and love of her work was evident when she talked, especially at ODOT or other Transportation Events. Her peronality beamed and she literally knew perhaps over a hundred of ODOT employees by name and location/position. She worked hard to find safe solutions that made sense. I miss her smile and...

She was an amazing woman and sister in law. 42 years with my brother in an incredible example of love, trust and companionship.

I got know Kathy while I was at WSDOT & she was at Coral. To say she was a special is an understatement. What a total shock to hear of her passing. My thoughts & prayers to her family.

I've had the honor of meeting Kathy at Transpo's 40th Anniversary Luncheon and what a pleasure it was to be in her company. I will miss her sparkling personality, knowledge and most of all her encouraging words.
