Kathleen was a powerful, intelligent presence in my life, just when I needed it... a girl in junior high, working at the Warkentin House in Newton. She was such a great influence and friend to us young people who were tour guides there, treating us as colleagues. She heaped piles of wisdom our way, and I am forever grateful to have called her friend.
