Kathleen Leon

Kathy and I met as co-workers at Eastern Airlines in the mid 80's and became fast friends.
She was my concert, thrift store and beach buddy. We shared fun times and many laughs, but she was also there for me when it really mattered.

At the age of 11, my daughter Tori was diagnosed with osteosarcoma ( bone cancer ). While she was hospitalized after her first treatment, Kathy came to the hospital to help give my daughter a haircut because her long beautiful blond curly hair...

I will never forget what a wonderful, imaginative playmate your mother and sister was when we were kids visiting our grandmother Leon in Camden. We would dress up in great aunt Gussie's old furs and hats and march around the house, Kathy leading the way. I could always expect to have a good conversation with Kathy and felt welcomed whenever we visited. With all of you, I will miss her.
