Kathleen LeBlanc Mattocks, age 83, of Metairie, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. 


Kathleen was a native of New Orleans. She was born to the late Guy Joseph LeBlanc and Dorothy Fredrick LeBlanc. She loved her grandchildren more than life itself. She had a passion for cooking, dancing, and expressing her creativity in countless ways. Kathleen was always known for her generous spirit. She loved helping others and giving to everyone around her.


Kathleen leaves behind her longtime companion, John Daunhauer; three daughters, Michelle Tesvich and her husband Sam Tesvich, Deborah Jessup and her husband Richard Jessup Jr., and Cherie Dooley and her husband Michael Dooley. She was a proud grandmother to Joel Wells Jr., Kathleen Jessup, Richard Jessup III, Payton Dooley, and Thomas Dooley. Kathleen was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Kayden Dooley, Nolan Dooley, and Joel Wells III, who brought her endless joy.


Her warmth, kindness, and love will continue to live on through her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.


Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,


1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA  
on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 1:00 P.M.


Visitation on Tuesday after 11:00 A.M. until funeral time.


Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
