Not sure what to say?

Donny, Sorry to hear of Kathleens passing. Our Prayers go out to you with your loss. She was a wonderful person, so soft spoken, like her mother. We will remember her fondly.
Sincerely James and Robin Brewer

I had the honor of completing my student teaching under Kathleen. She was the consummate mentor....always encouraging. I learned a great deal from her and felt better equipped to enter the teaching field. I am so very sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful woman.

Kathy was a wonderful, caring person. I worked with her and saw her devotion to children and to their education. She is one of those persons who made life better for those around her. It was my privilege to have known and worked with her. My prayers go out to her family. God bless you in this time of loss.

Mrs Mauro was very instramental in the success I experienced as a school law enforcement Dare and School Resource Officer for 15 years in district 70. She taught all of those around her the true meaning of believing in our children and that we are all worth something.
My prayers go out to her family and loved ones. She will be truly missed by all. My only regret is that i found out after returning from out of state and missed the services. Rest in Peace my friend

My prayers to Mrs. Mauro's family as they mourn her loss. She was my 3rd grade teacher at Baxter and one of the sweetest people I have ever met! She not only taught me how to read and write but shared her creativity with me and the rest of her students. She took the time to teach us how to make Sugar Easter Eggs that year and to this day, I have a special place in my heart for those eggs and Mrs. Mauro! I'm so thankful to have had her in my life!

Sorry for the loss of you dear family member. Prayers to all of you. She was a wonderful person. An honor to have known her.

Kathy was a special person. She shared her knowledge of children and education freely. As a new teacher, she taught me how to organize and create folders to help in the class room and to meet individual needs. She was great fun..We took a CLASS on ltalian wines...loved every minute of it...the times we met at the Broadway theatre shows will be a cherished. SHE had so many interests and passions it made her special. K athy was a special angel sent to us. I am glad to have shared part of...

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Kathy's family. My husband, Dan Edwards, taught with Kathy and Baxter Elementary School and also worked for her when she became principal of Avondale Elementary School. They had an amazing friendship during and after those years. She was always a joy to be around and we looked forward every year to getting her a special cup and saucer at Christmas time. I know she an Dan are in heaven together reading stories to all the children (and children at...

Thoughts and prayers to all of Kathy's family during this sad time. What a SPECIAL person Kathy was, so sweet, caring and loving of everyone around her. This BEAUTIFUL angel is surely in that SPECIAL PLACE where ALL ANGELS are celebrating her presence! God Bless All of YOU!
