Not sure what to say?

My wife and I just found out about Dr. McMahan's passing. We were shocked and very sadened by the news. Although we knew she was ill for some time we were always hopefull that she was doing well. She was a wonderful Doctor but more than that she was a such a gracious and warm human being. My family including my two boys who were her patients will forever keep her in our hearts and prayers!

I stumbled upon this and am so sorry I did not know sooner. Tina was wonderful to my children and we were with her from the beginning. She was warm and loving and we were truly blessed to have known her. Her sister was battling cancer at the same time as my mom, and we often cried and grieved together. I know she is loving us from Heaven. Donna, Tommy, Kevin, Jeff and Scott

We were saddened to hear of Dr. McMahan's passing during our last visit to Carousel. She had been a part of our family for 13 years taking care of our two children. We will always remember our visits with her.
Love from

It is with great sadness that I submit this entry. Dr. McMahan will be forever loved and deeply missed. My prayers to her family and friends, especially the wonderful people at Carousel Pediatrics.

How can we express our sadness? We were privileged to know Tina for ten years, first as our children's pediatrician, and then as my friend. She saw us through some of the most frightening days of our lives when David had NEC. I am convinced that without Dr. Tina's astute observations and quick referral to NICU, we would not have had the positive outcome that we did.

Tina, I will remember your wisdom, your calm voice reassuring me through so many little crises, and most of all...

It was with great sadness that I learned of Tina's passing. I was fortunate to know Tina through Sassy. Our friendship is one that I will always cherish. Tina left a print on all of our hearts. God Bless.

Our
family sends our deepest regrets to Dr. McMahan's family and friends.
What an amazing person she was! My children were extremely saddended at
her untimely death .No one is ever ready to say good-bye. We thought
about her often and prayed for her full recovery. She will be
greatly missed by all. We love you Dr. McMahan and hope you are looking
down on all of us and the hundreds of lives you touched.

I will never forget the evening I got the call. Tina had died. I was out on a boat in Lake Pontchartrain. I had an overwhelming feeling of sadness and loss. I wasn't ready to say goodbye. Then, as the sun began to set, the sky came alive with hues of orange and pink. A sense of peace settled over me as I watched the horizon. It was one of the most colorful, glorious, and perfect sunsets I've ever seen. I immediately knew that Tina was up there with God, painting the sky! She will live forever...

Dr. McMahan was my son Cole's Pediatrician when he was born in 1997. I really was impressed by her caring and gentle ways with children. It was obvious she loved them very much. We heard shortly afterward that Dr. McMahan was ill with Cancer but I always thought she was going to get better. I was so sorry to hear about her death. My condolences go out to her family and her coworkers at Caroussel Pediatrics. She will be greatly missed.
