Not sure what to say?

So very sorry for the loss of this wonderful lady. She was at Moline High School, our librarian. She will be missed by many.

Kathy had been a part of my family´s lives for over 68 years. Then there was high school where both Ken & I were in Library Club all 3 years. We always stayed connected in one way or another. Ken & Kathy shared the same birthday & we eagerly looked forward to May 19th for over 30 years, celebrating lunch & lots of conversation & laughter. She celebrated her birthday the whole month of May! Up until this last November however would never share her age! That was an every year " I´m not telling"...

Kathy was the most caring and positive lady one will ever know. Our 45 years of friendship was one I cherish. She dealt with many blows but never blinked an eye. Her faith was strong and everyone in the community admired her ability to donate her time and energy to many non profits. I speak on behalf of the Miss Iowa Scholarship program where Kathy left a legacy. She believed in young women becoming their best! May she rest peacefully

I just spoke with her a few weeks ago! I'm so happy to have had the chance to reminisce about the old neighborhood. I have wonderful memories of her as a neighbor, friend, teacher, and a mentor. What a wonderful, lovely lady.

My Dear Kathy, how you made the world such a better place with your sweet kindness and energy to seek the best in everything you were involved with. despite your challenges of your health. God saw that you were getting tired and brought you home to be with your Glenn. May you rest in heavenly peace my sweet friend. I will truly miss our long talks. Love you More

Kathy was the most fantastic supporter of the Miss Iowa Scholarship Program by serving on the Board and actively involved in helping develop the young women in the program. She donated time and scholarship money throughout her many, many years of participating! She was a delightful lady to know and work with through the years!
