MOORE, Kathleen “Phyllis” – Of Flint, age 96, died at Hurley Medical Center.
Graveside service will be held at 12pm, Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to The Salvation Army or American Cancer Society.
Kathleen was born in Flint, Michigan on May 18, 1926, the daughter of the late Arthur and Ethel (Porter) Coombs and was a resident of Flint all of her life.
Mrs. Moore was employed by AC Spark Plug Division for 36 years, retiring in 1987 and was a member of UAW Local #651.
Surviving are 2 step-daughters, Connie and husband Bill Sevener
of Flint, Janis and husband Fred Folts of Quincy, Michigan;
5 grandchildren;
10 great-grandchildren;
4 great-great-grandchildren;
special friends, Chris and Sandra Klee, Leonard Clark and Marilyn Kiesel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents, Arthur and Ethel.

I can't believe it has been 2 years already. It just seems like yesterday. I really miss visiting with her and seeing her smiling face. She just loved seeing everyone especially the children. Her laugh was contagious. She will always be in my heart where ever I go. She is my guardian angel looking over my shoulder and keeping on eye on me. Love you Phyllis. Save a spot for me. XXOOXX

It has been a whole year since Phyliss passed away. Seems like yesterday. I miss her dearly. It has been a great void in my life. She was like a second mom to me. I keep her in my heart and prayers. She is watching over my as a guardian angel. Love you forever. XXXOOOXXX

I used to visit Phyllis it’s the Landing. I knew her from Alice Garza that used to work with her at AC. I used to take Phyllis flowers and Marilyn had everyone send her cards for her Birthday. Phyllis was one of the sweetest lady I’ve ever met.
I’m sorry there wasn’t a viewing I was calling her recently and didn’t know she was ill.
God blessed me for getting to know Phyllis as a true friend

Phyllis was my next door neighbor for about 15 years. We had a great relationship. The food...the memories of her talking to me through her kitchen window...the love she had for my pet's..she knew my every move...my heart hurts..but I know she is at peace...till we meet again and I promise to bring you a plate...I love you Phyllis

phyliss was a one of a kind lady. always glad to see you and such a beautiful smile. I met her about 10 yrs ago. she lived down the street from my sister. She was a loving and caring woman. I will miss her. My heart goes out to her family. i will keep them in my prayers.
