Kathleen Moorhead

She was very popular when a student nurse in n.y.c.

I was fortunate enough to have served under her command, as her HHD commander when she commanded the Battalion at Camp Parks. I was a young, egotism and brash young officer who got some great advice and mentorship from her. She expected more from me than I thought capable and she was right. I will always remember her as one of the best officers and human beings I have ever known.

Our prayers and condolences go to COL Moorhead family and associates. An extreme loss to our community and terrible tragedy.

I knew Kathleen professionally and always thought highly of her dedication to the law and her integrity. I am so saddened by her untimely passing, offer my condolences and wishes for a long life to her family and colleagues.

Kathleen was a great lawyer and fascinating person. I was fortunate to have worked with her on several cases, and observed her passion, wit, and breadth of life experience. She made practicing law fun. Woe be the deadbeat Plaintiff trying to scam the system on her watch. Her colorful presence will always be remembered.

Kathleen was truly one of a kind. She accomplished so much in her life - from her service to her country to practicing law. I am glad that I got to know her. She and her family are in my prayers.
