O sweet mystery of life at last i found thee
Now i know the secret of it all
All the longing seeking striving waiting yearning
The hopes and fears and burning tears that fall
yes it's love and love alone the world is seeking
it is love and love alone that can repay
it's the answer it is the end for all forgiving
for it is love and love alone that should rule in our lives and the world

Kathy, although you were married to my brother Jimmy, I never thought of you as a sister-in-law, but as another one of my sisters. I didn't have the fortune to live near all of you, but in our family distance is not measured by miles but in heartbeats. And I always felt you were but a heartbeat away. I will miss you and that glorious smile of yours. When I was with you after your surgery last year, you expressed your fear of dying. May I say that you have gone on to a much better place...

A good friend has always said to 'Count your blessings', and what a blessing is has been to have had Kathy in our lives. When I think of Aunt Kathy, I will always remember her kindness, her thoughtfulness and her unconditional love for Uncle Jimmy, Amanda and Courtney. It makes me smile to know I'll always see Kathy when I see those beautiful girls of hers ;)

Kathy was more a sister than inlaw. She was so sweet and gentle. I was blessed to be related to her. I love you Kathy and will talk to you daily. I hope you will watch over us all and with Mom guide us. I know how worried you were about Jim and the girls, but don't be, they had you as an example and have a wonderful support group around them. Rest easy Kathy we all love you.

Kathy and me August 2008 at Dad's.
What can I say, I have lost a friend and a sister-in-law that I will miss greatly. We had such great times together especially our trip to Italy. I will never forget your smiling face, you were always upbeat and kept a strong faith. I will never forget you, you will always be in my heart. Kathy you will see that Peter and I will do whatever it takes to bring public awareness about this silent killer, Ovarian Cancer. We are working on putting together a golf outing and possibly a 5K run/walk...
