Kathleen Ann Redish, 73, of Jeannette, passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, at her residence. She was born Dec. 9, 1943, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Joseph and Jannie Hitchens Baradziej. Kathy was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Jeannette, where she was a member of the church's choir and their Resurrection choir. Kathy also served as a scout leader for the Girl Scouts of America while her daughters were young. In addition to her parents, Kathy was predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Redish, in 1985. She is survived by her children, Kelly Lynn Redish, of Jeannette, Jason Lee Redish, and wife Amy, of Latrobe, and Kimberly Jo Wiles, and husband Beau, of Garner, N.C.; grandchildren, McKenna, Maylee and Joseph Redish, and Noah and Rowan Wiles; her siblings, Melanie Kuester, and husband David, of Lorain, Ohio, Elena Backstrom, and husband Ric, of Dallas, Ga., Joel Baradziej, and wife Kathy, of Jeannette, Lisa Scalzo, of Winston-Salem, N.C., Barry Baradziej, of Jeannette, and Jannie Nedley, and husband Shawn, of Cranberry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 N. Second St., Jeannette. A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Father Paul A. Lisik presiding. Entombment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.

Kathy and family,
Surprised and sorry to see your Mom passed away. I recall your family down on Fort Pitt Street when I was little, and my Grandmother was very fond of her. May God rest her soul.
Sad that we weren't able to get to the funeral home to pay respect.
