Not sure what to say?

I was thinking of Ma Soeur yesterday as Notre Dame burned. How she would have been so sad to see that happening to such a beautiful place. I read an article very late last night that had pictures of the inside of the burned cathedral and saw how the cross still hung in all the destruction. I could practically hear her say "there was God He's in the details". Thinking of you all on the anniversary of her passing.

The modern language department at SCHS was blessed to have Ma Soeur teaching French for so many years. We always looked forward to her quick whit and humorous comments. She was very helpful and patient when I stepped into her world one year to add a French I class to my teaching schedule. Ma soeur struggled with health issues in her later years at SCHS but nevertheless managed to remain faithful to her duties as a teacher. Her dedication to her students was exemplary. She will be greatly...

I have fond memories of Kathy in the Card Shop at Siena Center! SH was always welcoming and
Helpful.
May eternal light shine upon you, Kathy.
Thank you for your many years of dedicated service and " the mission" you were called to by God!

Condolences to the Sisters, family, students and colleagues of Sister Kathleen. We shared a special bond which was our love of the French language. In recent years it was always nice to see Ma Soeur at Siena Center when I was there. May she be at peace now with God.

My brother and I have many happy memories of Kathy when we were at SCHS. We often took Kathy home from school and Tom even took her to prom. Kathy's wry sense of humor still resonates with us. God bless and keep you, Kathy.

My prayers are with all who loved and knew Ma Soeur. What a wonderful impact Ma Soeur had on my life. Four years of French together plus one semester when I saw her two times a day for English and French. Her quirky sayings still make me smile! Her instructions put me on my path. I minored in French, studied abroad in college, and returned for fun years later. I will always be grateful for how she developed my cultural competency, cultural empathy, and love of the French cultural. Ma...

Amen

Thank you for all the years of dedicated service at SCHS. I have many fond memories of time spent in French class with you. Que Dieu vous accorde la paix éternelle, Ma Soeur.
