Not sure what to say?

My lovely teacher, who helped me while I struggled with English, in a new scary environment, when I came to JCHS from Poland. She was kind and friendly, and took me under her care. I still have a strawberry bowl that she made for me. Thank you, for everything Kathy, I will always remember you.

Kathy was such a wonderful teacher! She opened up the world of spinning, weaving and dying wool for me. She was so patient and kind. I’m very sad to hear of her passing, but am so blessed to have had her as a teacher and to have spent those years in her classes. She was a wonderful mentor and inspiration to so many students.

Kathy was my favorite teacher ever! The kindest and most fun person at JCHS. She inspired generations of artists and kept the arts alive in a community where they were often forgotten. I loved her and still think of the fun we had.

She was a great teacher and friend since I first met her in Sept. 1967 miss her always

I am so very saddened by the news of Kathys passing.
So gentle, lovely and kind; She was a gifted artist and teacher who could bring out the best in her students, regardless of experience or ability.
For me, Kathy was both an inspiration and a savior, without whom I would never have had the courage to leave James Caldwell for a school like Parsons. To this day (almost 30 years later) I still refer to so much of what I learned from Kathy. She taught me what instinct and sensitivity...

I'm so sorry to hear of Kathy's passing. She was a wonderful person and teacher. I am forever grateful to her for encouraging my artistic side. I admired her knowledge as an artist using natural materials. Definitely my favorite! She will be missed. My condolences to her family - I hope they know how much she meant to so many.

Kathy has and always will be my favorite teacher. She was such a kind soul, and touched my life in many ways. I know she kept all the sculptures I made and gave to her since they gave her so much enjoyment. she'll always be in my thoughts.
