I am so sorry to learn of Kathy's death. We worked together with the VNA. She quickly earned my respect, the respect of us all, as a good nurse and as a wonderful, caring person.

She was one of our Vietnam nurse "angels".
May she rest in peace.

In the 13+ years since I first called the VFW asking for someone to teach my girls about flag etiquette, Kathy was very supportive of Girl Scouting and my troop. Always willing to assist the girls by providing education on importance of service to community. She instilled many Girl Scouts with patriotism which has impacted their lives. She always had kind words of encouragement to the girls, and was a wonderful role model. I will miss her, as I know my Girl Scouts will also miss her.

I will always remember our joint Memorial Day and Veterans Day services. She was truly an American Veteran who served and loved her country.
