Kathy (Ms Tocco) Bill Laird and I got to take the first group of Marian students to the Dominican Republic. What a treasure!

It was always great to talk with Kathy while walking my dog around the neighborhood. She is definitely missed.

To her family: I had the great pleasure of working with Kathy at Marian. She was one of the best teachers and nicest person I ever knew.

Dear Kathy, thank you for the many years of being my friend and companion, in good times and in bad. We planned adventures together that ended much better than we had hoped. We took vacations together and visited so many states and cities. If asked to pick a favorite, I couldn't, because each was with you, each was the best. You were a muse to me and brought me to experience things I never thought I would. You are my treasure and I am so happy I got to call you my friend.

Ms. Tocco was my teacher sophomore year. Her class was a safe space for everyone to express their feelings and opinions. She was an incredible support during some of my toughest days as an adolescent. I would not be the person I am today without Ms. Tocco!

So sad for me and my daughter to lose our Dominican Republic guide!

Kathy, you are so precious and loving. Thanking God for your presence in my life and in the life of my family. Prayers for your family as they grieve for you.
