Kathleen Ann Torres, born October 25th 1950 in Brownwood, TX, went on to be with our Heavenly Father on November 11th 2013. Kathy grew up in the Denver, Colorado area where she graduated from the University of Northern Colorado. She later moved to Midland, Texas where she met her husband of 35 years Joel R. Torres. While in Midland she worked for the City of Midland Municipal court for 20 plus years as a court clerk. Joel and Kathy were blessed with 2 wonderful baby boys, Daniel and Emmanuel Torres. Kathy was a wonderful, caring wife, mother, sister, niece, cousin and aunt but most importantly a beautiful person inside and out. She helped raise her children with unconditional love and dedication to her family. Her family always came first. She was always willing to help others and truly was unselfish, thoughtful and considerate in her life. Her family and friends will always miss her presence but her heart and soul will continue with each and every one of us. Kathleen is survived by her husband Joel R. Torres; son Daniel Z. Torres; daughter in law Krystal N. Torres; grand-daughter Katana M. Torres; grand-sons Alex and Matthew James Torres; sister Betty Ellen Dawkins; aunt Dora F. Not sure what to say?

Betty,
I am so sorry to hear about Kathy. I am so glad I was able to talk to her when she came out to Denver. I will always remember the good times the three of us had growing up.
May God bless you
Colleen

Daniel and family and Betty, It is hard to say goodbye to my BFF, my third sister, my friend for life. She and I were voice friends before we actually met. We slept in the rec room at one of the dorms at UNC. I had the upper and she claimed the lower bunk. She was in bed before me and I was up before her, so we shared several conversations and our names but never actually saw each other. But one day in the cafeteria, while I was in line, I heard a familiar voice. I said Kathy and she said...

We will mess Mrs. Torres . She was a wonderful lady and so friendly all ways happy even when she came out of dialysis . Our condolences to the family . From Margie and Delores from EZ Rider.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and will miss your warm smile always

Truly a wonderful lady. So sad to hear about this. The Torres Family has been apart of my life for years. It's such an honor to know them. She will be missed.
