Thinking of you Dr. Von Roenn

From our first day in First Grade at Chenoweth Elementary, to out last day at Waggener High, Kathy was a wonderful friend and classmate. I am so happy to have known her and to have experienced her bright smile. Marc Joseph

Dr. Kathy von Roenn was the essence of light and beauty. She possessed such elegance, grace, and intellect while having the amazing gift of being relatable and ever so kind. Her list of achievements as well as dedication to serving, teaching, and improving the lives of so many are truly unmeasurable. I am honored I was so lucky to have such a remarkable woman as a role model and second mother... There is an incredible picture of she and her sister after they attended a Barishnikov ballet......

Please accept my sincere condolences. I worked for Dr. von Roenn for 16 years. She was so very knowledgeable and never minded sharing that knowledge to help others. She was talented in so many areas and I always enjoyed seeing her new paintings.

She was the best second mom a kid could've asked for growing up. The summer trip to Naples with Kathy, Joan, Kenny and Page will forever be etched in my mind. Some of my fondest memories as a kid were at the house on Crescent Ave. Condolences to the family...Rest In Peace Momma.

My family and I will greatly miss Kathy. She housed us (no simple task being that we seemingly filled her house with boisterous and curious children) on numerous occasions when we were visiting Louisville and my children still speak of her magical house and the warmth we felt there. I guess that Kathy was my first babysitter...and we still have some old photos attesting to that...Kathy had boundless positive energy as everyone who knew her witnessed. We were so fortunate to have been in her...

To the Family of Dr. Von Roenn. We we´re shock to hear of her passing. Our prayers are with the Penna, von Roenn Family and Dr. Hammond and staff. Dr. von Roenn always was so compassionate and kind. Always had a beautiful smile on her face. Dr. Von Roenn will remain in our prayers and be missed immensely. God Bless to all, Joshua, Patricia & Laura Hardaway

My heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family of Dr. Kathy Von Roenn. Kathy and I were classmates at ULSD "91. She was loved by all in our class. She was a very kind and compassionate person and played an instrumental role spearheading in most Class of "91 reunion gatherings. She loved living life and always had words of encouragement. I'm so glad that our paths crossed. May Kathy's light continue to shine through the lives she touched. Rest in Heaven, Classmate.

Our deepest and most sincere condolences are with the entire family during this time of great loss.
