Not sure what to say?

Kathy became my friend in high school when I moved to Ramsey, NJ and her mother ordered her to befriend me since we went to the same church. The big joke is that we really did become friends. I can still see her with her Cheshire cat grin as she would watch the rest of us losing at Parchesi, which she, of course, won--all the time.
We reconnected many years later by getting together once a year and having tons of laughs. Kathy had the best sense of humor and was a steadfast friend. ...

I have know Kathy since we were in the 3rd grade together and our moms were leaders for our Girl Scout troop. We were more of acquaintances during our high school years and grew into our deep, true, delightful friendship later. Kathy was probably one of the funniest people I've ever know and I deeply regret we could never convince her to write that book we teased her about. She was so smart and quick witted and I loved the fact that she often became the "devil's advocate" just to keep the...

Kathy, my dear friend...oh the memories I have...50+ years of them. You were a class act! You kept us laughing through this life with your humor, quick wit and silly stories. We had some great adventures! You fought so hard for life. I will miss you always. Jason, Jocy...she's no longer in pain, probably winging around up there with a halo just ever so slightly crooked...she was a one of a kind.

I have known Kathy since we became friends in high school. Later we became closer commuting to New York to school and work and creating many happy memories in our off hours! Kathy had the best sense of humor! She was smart, caring and true to her convictions. I miss her terribly. My deepest sympathy go to Jocelyn and Jason.

I've known Kathy since our high school days in New Jersey and we were best friends then and continued our friendship over the years. She is one of the funniest people I've ever known - always could make me laugh. I feel she's still with us today, egging me on to laugh in the face of sadness. My deepest sympathies go out to Jason and Jocy.

I only knew Kathy for a short time, but we are both east coast girls so we really hit it off. I loved her spirit and love for her family. She actually once dated a young man from my high school back in NY, and when I acknowledged that I knew him, she was thrilled. We both agreed that he resembled Paul Newman. She tried so hard to stay with us and I so admired her efforts. We will all miss her. My prayers and thoughts are with your family at this difficult time.
Sent with love,

John and I had not seen Kathy for a long time, but we knew of her fight for her life.
Our thoughts are with Jason, Jocelyn, and their loved ones.
Janice and John Elder.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I consider Kathy Winget a very dear friend whom I will greatly miss. In the short time that I knew Kathy, just about 4 years, I experienced her to be one of the most genuine, loving and accepting individuals that I have met in my life. We always had fun when we were together, we had some serious conversations as well, a true friend. I am so glad she has been apart of my life and I feel that I am a better person for having known her, therefore she will be with me always.

Love you...
