My sincere sympathy to Kathy´s family. Kathy and I met many years ago when she was in Newport, RI as a newly married young woman. She lived in my mom and dad´s apartment over the garage and I lived in the house. We just recently picked up our friendship again and I am sorry that it was so short lived. I remember Kathy as a bright shining light whenever she entered a room. A very positive person full of love. RIP Kathy.

Kathy was the absolute best receptionist at The Post-Standard/Herald Journal and no matter what kind of day she was having, she was ALWAYS smiling, friendly and helpful. We remained online friends after both of us retired and I shall miss our occasional "chats." RIP, my friend.
