Kathryn and Michael Ritzen

I remember Prof. Ritzen fondly. He preferred to be called "Mike' by his students. I'm glad to hear his course "History of the Nazi Holocaust" was remembered. For the record, I was the first student to sign up for the inaugeral semester in the autumn of 1973. Elie Wiesel was the guest speaker. God bless Michael and his memory.

I am so sorry to hear this. I knew that Kathryn had died but not Michael. My brother John was friends with Noah growing up and the four of us enjoyed a jazz show together at the iron horse back in the 90s that I´ll never forget. More recently I spent time with Michael on his daily walks around Glenmeadow. I will miss our conversations. Michael was also very close with my late mother in law who taught with him at STCC. He was a special person. May his memory be a blessing.
