Dear Bergin Family, My memories of your mom (and dad) were fun visits to your home in Hillsdale. Your folks were dear friends of my parents, Bob and Jo Leipzig. They met via the Christian Family Movement. Our parents were part of the greatest generation of commitment and service to ALL people. Dear Bergen family, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I have such fond memories of eating grilled cheese in her mid century modern kitchen and watching her oil paint. I still recall one painting with a mail box in it. She was a wonderful mom, neighbor and friend to my mom. Life was always exciting at the Bergin house hold and Mrs. Bergin was usually laughing and sending someone to practice bagpipes! Cherish your memories of her. I hope you have a lovely service and celebration of her life.
