I never stopped being in awe of her superior skills at working with people in crisis. Washtenaw County Community Mental Health was blessed to have her on their staff for so many years. Kathe was a wonderful person. She was my student at Washtenaw Community College, first in the LPN program and later returning for her RN. She had the remarkable gift of working with people in crisis. I was always in awe of how she could manage situations. She has been missed since she retired, and I know her family is missing her. My condolences to them.

It is with a heavy heart that I hear/read of the passing of Kathy. She was a great friend when we were in High School. We spent a great deal of time together. I will always remember the good times we shared with long car rides with Mary to the UP, spending time together at each others house, piercing ears, running around Ypsi. Dearest Kathy please Rest in Peace, and to the family ...... we were the lucky ones to have been able to spend time with her. Sweet Dreams my friend.

Kathy's classmates from the Ypsilanti St. John's class of 1968 gathered last night for our 50th class reunion and were saddened to learn of her passing. She is remembered as a dear classmate and friend. Bright, witty, generous and caring. She is so fondly remembered and was missed and will be missed. I know is speak for all of her St. John's classmates and friends in sending our prayers and sympathy to Kathy's family and friends.
