John, Cheryl and Paul,
There is a reason for everything that God hands to those He loves. A wise nun once told my mom God sends to those he loves the most the biggest heartaches. John, Cheryl and Paul, I can't imagine a bigger heartache than the one you have just experienced for the second time.
Although we didn't know Kathryn very well, she was always very pleasant to us when we would see each other at Dontino's when we both decided to dine there the same...

Dear Betty, Your loss is Heaven's gain. When you see the sunshine, or hear a bird sing, or feel the breeze on your face, you'll know that your Mom is happy. Love, Sue K.

Music, when soft voices die

Music, when soft voices die,
Vibrates in the memory—
Odours, when sweet violets sicken,
Live within the sense they quicken.

Rose leaves, when the rose is dead,
Are heaped for the beloved's bed;
And so thy thoughts, when thou art gone,
Love itself shall slumber on.

Dear John, Nancy, Betty, and families,
Words can't express what I feel in my heart. Kathryn was my "2nd Mom" and I loved her dearly. I rejoiced when John came into her life and brought her so much joy and happiness. I ached as I saw her health decline in recent months, but watched as you continued to support her with your love and devotion. May God surround you with His love and bring you comfort in the knowledge that she is truly in a better place and you will be reunited someday. ...

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

Nancy and Betty,

There has never been, nor will there ever be a better aunt than "Our Aunt Kathryn".

She is now at peace with Grandma, Dad, and Tim.

She will always be in our hearts with so many wonderful memories.

With much love,

Barb and Val

Dear Betty and Nancy,

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Kathy's Passing.

It was great to see Aunt Kathy at Chris's graduation. The visit brought back so many fond memories of our family visits as we were growing up.
She was truly a special person.

We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Your Cousin David and Kay.

Dear John, Nancy, and Betty,

We're so sorry to hear Kathryn had passed away.

She was a delightful person to know and was always fun to be around.

I make the Yum Yum Salad often, probably our favorite, and when I make it I think of her and told her many times how much everyone enjoys it and I have given the recipe to many people here in Roanoke.

May God Bless All of You and Keep You In His Care.

Love, Art and Sally Wilde
