Not sure what to say?

It has been almost a year since we said 'goodbye' and it is still very tough. My house is still filled with Kathy and Bev and friends pictures. Kathy's voice is still in my heart making me laugh. Her vision helps me see things through her eyes. There have been a mountain of stories from people this last year, especially from the Flying Sams and the University of Arizona Peds dept where she worked and volunteered. I still do not look at a UofA cop and not hear her say "Just a flashlight cop...

Dearest beautiful Kathy, I miss you every day and shall until I join you in God's glory. You are still my inspiration and my love for you is still as strong as when you were here on earth. My deepest sympathy to Kathy's family. She was such a warm and wonderful childhood friend. Kathy will be missed and treasured by so many friends and family.

Dearest Marty, Chris, Eris, Jose, Cal and the rest of the strong and loving family of my dearest friend Kathryn. We met when she was first diagnosed and I will never forget how positive she was 12 years ago.
She was also a member of the Flying Samaritans that brought medical supplies and help to El Rosario Mexico. She and I would room together and talk until the wee hours at night. Everyone loved her, and I mean everyone. When she smiled, she won over patients who were frightened...

It's taken a long time for me to be able to have enough courage to list my thoughts of my beautiful cousin Kathy. She was such a great inspiration and wonderful person...that to know that a person with that much love to give to people, is gone, breaks my heart. I loved seeing her when I was in town, loved sharing my adventures with her, she always listened like it was such a great story. I can only say that I hope that one day, I can be well thought of and loved as much as my cousin. I...

Dear Moreno and Chavez Families,
I am so sorry for your loss. Kathy was always such an inspiration to me. From the time we met in jr. high, through high school and when I last saw her she had the best outlook and that radiance that just glowed with her beautiful smile. I know her positive spirit lives on and that she is now looking after her loved ones. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

My thoughts are with all of you. I had the priveledge of knowing Kathy through her treatments with us. I will miss her smile and positive attitude - my love to you all

The Salpointe Catholic High School community extends deepest sympathy for Mrs. Chavez-Moreno's family and friends. You are in our prayers at this very difficult time.
