Kathryn "Kathie" Dudley

Kathie was one of the sweetest, most loving people I ever knew. I loved the way she would burst out laughing. I could always make her laugh. I've known her and her family for over 50 years and no finer people exist. Nursing was a great career for Kathie because she was professional, to the letter, but naturally nurturing. She was my best friend's sister, but also my sister. We all had so much fun over the years and I loved her and will miss her. Rest in Peace, Kaka.

Today heaven received another nurse angel . Kathie Dudley was as wonderful friend and nurse. Her compassion for her patients and coworkers was beyond expectation. We go way back many years at UNC; never worked the same unit but did float to each other's floor. Whenever I floated to 6W and Kathie was on, I knew everything would be OK.
