Kathryn Loy Gordon, mother of four, and beloved sister was taken from us suddenly on November 3, 2007. Kathy was born on February 22, 1954 in Hot Springs, SD to Dr. and Mrs. Albert W. Hermann. She married Mark Forrest Gordon on June 1st, 1974. Daughter Andrea Davidson and son-in-law Greg, son Robert Gordon and daughter-in-law Caitlin, and daughter Kathryn Cannon and son-in-law Dustin survive her. She is also survived by grandsons Mark and Aedyn and sisters Patricia, Judy, Nancy, Peggy, and Dotty. She was preceded in death by son Mark Andrew Gordon and husband Mark and both parents. She was a devoted mother, supportive wife, and cherished sister. Kathy attended Ft. Collins High School in Ft. Collins, CO, and after her graduation in 1972, she went on to attend nursing school at Wesley-Passavant School of Nursing of Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL where she graduated in 1978. She was an Army wife who lived in six different locations around the world. Kathy was our "Big Kahuna" who enjoyed cooking, traveling, reading, and fun music. She had a competitive spirit and enjoyed making things fun and exciting. Kathy always told you how it was. Friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation on Friday, November 9, 2007 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 10:30 am.
