Not sure what to say?

I did not know Kathryn, but I did know she was an amazing matriarch and a force of nature. I am proud to be the half-sister of her grandsons Eric, and the late Randy Glary. I hope all her children and grandchildren are celebrating her life force and comforting each other with positive memories and antidotes of time well spent. <3

Reflections on Aunt Kaye
Such a mighty wit behind those laughing eyes. I can still hear her lively voice singing out her children's names. Creative ideas quickly transformed into reality while unwavering letters kept her sisters apprised. Did anything shake her confidence? And though we seldom met, she provided many magical memories for me - too many to recount! Thank you and God's peace.

What an amazing and inspirational woman! I will always remember her laugh and her special way. I'm glad to have known her. My sympathy to your family.

I was a wonderful time of my life. Growing up and being neighbors with the Halvorson family on the Lake. I will alawys remember Kay and Carl.

To all of Kay's children, Sister Peggy Codd (Jeanne Rose, the "golfing nun") and I were privileged to have been friends of your mother and guests in her home. One of the many creative and generous contributions she made to Marylhurst College in the past was to take charge of the entry decor of the Administration building. It was never so beautiful and inviting. I know you will miss her very much and I am sorry for your loss. Your father Carl was my "partner" in our "People to People"...

Condolences to All the Family! Our love to a dear and wonderful mentor and friend. We are better for having known the Halvorson family. We will cherish memories and carry on your teachings and help ourselves and others be the best they can be. Kathryn you will truly be missed until we meet again! Respectfully, Sule, Nathaniel and Danielle

With deepest sympathy to all of you our cousins in the loss of your mother and our aunt Kay. We will always remember her and Uncle Carls visits to the farm and the letters that she would send. Now she can rest at peace and the family ring that was once broken now can be a full circle again.

Kay was a remarkable person!
It was my privilege to have known her for many years.
