Chadwick Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC - New London Obituary

Danbury, NH – Kathryn Jean Hamilton passed away peacefully surrounded by her children in Warner, NH on the morning of November 19, 2025 at the age of 71.  Kathy was born on January 29, 1954 to parents Ralph and Phyllis Rodman and grew up on Mountain Street in Willimantic, CT.  She studied Fine Arts at Eastern Connecticut State University and started her professional career in advertising where she met her loving husband Robert A. Hamilton whom she married in February of 1982; Kathy and Robert were happily married for 32 years until Robert predeceased her in July of 2014.  Kathy spent many years maintaining a warm and loving home for her family, working in the town office, and later held a position as an art teacher at the Academy of the Holy Family in Baltic, CT.  In 2014 she moved to New Hampshire to be closer to her children and growing number of grandchildren.  Kathy had a lifelong love for all forms of art, animals (especially dogs and horses), and always held a special place in her heart for Mickey Mouse and Disney.  Kathy will be remembered by all who loved her for her unfailing Christian faith, unforgettable sense of humor, and her kind and generous nature.  Kathy is predeceased by her parents Ralph and Phyllis Rodman and her husband Robert Hamilton.  Surviving family members include her siblings Jeffrey and wife Debbie, Susan and husband Val, and Janice and husband Wes; her children, Jonathan and wife Paige, Laura, Nicholas and wife Amber; and her six grandchildren.  Kathy will also be remembered by the staff of Pine Rock Manor who played an irreplaceable and invaluable role in the final chapter of her life.  A celebration of life and reception is scheduled for December 5, 2025 at 10AM at the Canaan Assembly of God in Canaan, NH.  All are welcome to attend and in lieu of flowers, please send donations to Compassion International or the Pregnancy Center of the Upper Valley.  To sign an online guestbook, please visit www.chadwickfuneralservice.com

Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Ham was an amazing art teacher and always made our lessons fun when I attended AHF. It was always great when she brought her Boston terriers to school!
I’m so saddened to hear of her passing, but she touched so many lives while she was here

Sending love and sincere sympathy to all of Kathy's family. My memories of Kathy are of a special happy and loving woman. May you all find comfort in the many wonderful memories of her which I know you all share.

So many wonderful memories of Kathy and Bob and the Franklin Congregational Church. My prayers are with your family - Jonathan, Laura and Nicholas.

So sorry for your loss. Your family will be in our prayers. Love from Jim & Deb Goode
