Not sure what to say?

My first memory was opening the old trunk on Grandma and Grandpa Joiner's front porch to find discarded beautiful shoes and clothes that had belonged to Aunt Kay and Aunt Ethyl Mae. We loved to dress up in the clothes and pretend to be our two pretty Aunts. When they came home to Hartburg, we always knew because we could hear their car horns BLOWING all the way from Claybars Store. They would get out almost before the car stopped, running to hug all of us. They were always soooo happy to...

We'll all miss you Mee-Ma! I have so many memories..like...Before you ever allowed me to leave your home, you always made sure I had eaten that day and had money in my pocket. If I didn't, you would slip me 20 bucks. I would write Mee-Ma on it know I would be fine with out it (but you weren't going to let me leave before I took it) So on pay day I would give you back that same $20 bill where I would have added "I love you" in front of your name. ...

My sincerest condolences to you all, especially Ann, Pat, Arnold and Gary. Although it's been a long time, I still remember Kay as a sweetheart. Take good care.

Kay (MeeMa) always made me feel apart of the family. Her smile could light the world. Last time I saw her was in March and when I came into her room she smiled and had that twinkle in her eye. It was just like everytime I saw her. She was truly happy to see me. I will miss you and I promise to always be there for your Kathie. Pat, I love you. I wish I could be there, it breaks my heart. My prayers to all the family.

I loved my Aunt Kathryn and so glad I was named after her. I know she and my father are happy to be together again in Heaven. I have many precious memories of her laughter and sweet personality.
Love and Prayers for her family and friends.

A Message for Mom - from Ann

God looked around his garden
And saw an empty space.
He then looked down upon this earth
And saw your smiling face.

God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
For an unknown reason he took you
up to heaven, and shielded you with grace.

It broke my heart to see you go,
But you did not go alone.
For part of me went with you,
The day God called you home.

I once had a little colt, his name was Hobby. His name was after General Hobby! The Hobby Airport in Houston - Same General. Aunt Kay as I understand named this little colt while in the WAC's.
To cut this short, I had alot of fun hours and days on this beautiful Paint called "
Hobby". Precious memories are made and treasured away. Those days were special and I'll never forget the times with Aunt Kay and family. May the GOD of comfort touch our hearts during this time!

Sweet Little Mother, you were truly an angel on earth. My heart will forever have an empty space and I already miss you so much. I will do my best to follow the example you set, until we meet in Heaven I will remain your loving and devoted daughter.

We Love You "Me Ma"
