Not sure what to say?

Aunt Kat,
I will never forget you. Growing up, every summer we looked forward to going to your house. Sometimes, I wish I had never grown up. I wish I could turn back time and go on one of those summer trips to see you again. If I had one word to describe you it would be "fun". You were always up for a good time. We always had a good time with you. We miss you dearly. You still make me smile every time I think about you. Thanks for all the memories.

Our deepest sympathies to Jennifer and family. We only met your grandmother once, but what a wonderful pair her and your grandfather were. Our memories of her are a classy, funny, loving person. Certainly someone we met far too late in life.

I cannot begin to fully express all of the fond memories I have of Mrs. Hartzog. I decorated her house for Christmas for some 9 years or so. She truly was the hightlight of my Holiday season. She was my "Christmas Angel". It brought me great joy to provide her with beautiful decorations that she, and the grandchildren could enjoy. I loved her like a Grandmother. I listened to her stories of days past, and learned so much about her life, character and integrity. She truly was a lovely,kind,...

Oh my dear Kat! How I miss you. You were my Atlanta mother for so many years and we had so much fun together - traveling, shopping, eating, and most of all being friends. The pictures of me and Elvis and Tom will forever remind me of you and our special relationship. I am sorry we will be leaving tomorrow for Hilton Head with our family and will miss the service on Sat. afternoon. Love to all the family.

Aunt Kat was a wonderful inspiration to many of us, and a wonderful host. I will never forget the memories made when Kat and I visited her in Atlanta when we were in high school. She will be missed by many. My sincere condolences to the entire family and my dear friends, the Jones and Johnson families.

You will be dearly missed. Your inspriation to me was second to none. Love you always

There are so many memories of growing up and visiting Aunt Kat and Uncle Hot. I remember the sound of Uncle Hot walking with his cane down their hallway early in the mornings. Aunt Kat would always give us late night "snick-snacks." And who can forget her collection of feet? Each meal in her home was delicious and I will never forget the red apples she made. I wish I had that recipe. I always admired Aunt Kat because I was named after her. She would always ask me when people would...
