Kathryn Louise Paynter Stitzel Heiser Johnson

It's hard to believe that it's been a year since we lost sweet "Mumsies". She was such a very special person and I treasure all the times I spent with her, both celebrating parties at Lake Cherokee and the times I spent with her at her home. RIP sweet Mumsies and keep dancing with your husbands.

I only know of "Mumsie" through her great granddaughter, Mindy. She must have been a very special person, as is her "special" great granddaughter!

Mrs Heiser (as I knew her) was one of the kindest and sweetest ladies I ever met. Our family Joined hidden Hill family in 1966 or 68 as I was only a toddler. She was always receptive and hospitable to all the kids who grew up at hidden Hill. Ned, Kemtpon, Little Toni & I all were within about a year of each other in age (AND, were all the youngest of our families up there) We ran together back then, playing outside at hidden Hill, swimming, horseback riding and riding mini bikes all over...

What an incredible legacy Katherine has left to this world. I know that my life is richer by knowing her and her huge family. She will be missed, but the many memories and stories will continue
