Not sure what to say?

Jill,
Your mother was a special lady who brought great joy to many. I was blessed to know her. She made an impact on us all through her gardens, through her love for us and her ability to make us all feel good just to be around her.

Dear Jill,
We were so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. We have such fond memories of Kitty and Mac and you and Amy, from Westminster Oaks. What a grand lady! We wish you all peace - you are in our thoughts and prayers.

love, James and Mary

The expressions of love in the beautiful comments all of you have made touch our hearts. Friends are the flowers in the garden of life. Keep my 91 year old father in your prayers as he approaches May 1st which would have been their 70th anniversary.
Love,
Jill McMullen Elmore

Jill, I can remember as a little girl riding up Suwannee St. to see what "Miss Kitty" had blooming, now I take my grandchildren by to see her yard. Your Mother was truly a "gracious Southern Lady" whose friendship my Mother cherished and enjoyed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Ms. McMullen and seeing her beautiful garden, but as I read the announcement of her passing, I recognized the name Neely Towe who is married to her nephew. I attended Lee High School with Neely, and she was a wonderful person who helped me alot in Spanish class. It is indeed a small world.

Jill, I am Connie Nobles daughter and have enjoyed many wonderful moments with your Mother both at her home and garden and at my Mother's before her death. I know the loss you feel is overwhelming, but God's grace will be sufficient for you. Your Mother was a gracious southern belle and I enjoyed hearing about their trips and excursions years ago. Your Mother sent me a Christmas card yearly until a few years ago and I had heard her health was bad. Our
Mother's are probably in charge of...

The Lawhon family lived next door to the McMullens, for a few years on Suwannee Ave. My sister Christine and I had a short visit with her several years ago, we enjoyed the McMullen FAmily and it was so amazing she new who we were when she saw us and we had not seen her in many years, I am informing our little sister, Lynette who adored her. WE are sorry for your loss but are so glad you have many wonderful memories. Our prayers are with you. Leonora Hale
