Kathryn Louise Michalek

My mother Marie Michalek Williams was the sister of Bill, Frank & Helen Michalek. Helen and Marie were twins. My mother adored her siblings and spoke often of their childhood. When Frank and Bill were in the service, they bought the formal dress and accessories for my mother so she could attend her high school graduation dance. Money was so tight during WWII. I grew up in the 40's and 50's a neighbor of the Michalek Family. I knew Frank and his sisters Helen and Kay -- as well as Kathryn trough the family. My older siblings are all deceased, but they were good friends of the Michaleks and I know that they would want me to express the kind feelings that they all had for the family.

It is going to be hard to not see Kathryn at the Grand Blanc Woman's Club. My prayers go to her family and know she will remain in our memories.

Sorry for the passing of Kay. I didn't know her well, but I do know she will be missed by all the women with the Grand Blanc Women's club.
