Kathryn "Katie" Phipps

Katie was a very dear friend of mine. I picked her up every Sunday for Church and other meetings. We were very close. She had invited me to have supper with her and go to the concert at Eastmont on Thurs. and I found out she had passed when I got to Eastmont Thurs evening. I will always treasure our friendship. I had the privilege of working with Katie at Union Bank through the FAIR program. Our task was to provide support to senior customers of the bank. Four retires managed the desk on a parttime basis. Besides myself the team consisted of Donna Gill and Del Dearborn. Katie was a conscientious member of the team, direct and efficient. She was fun to work with and will be missed .
