She was a great woman. Great because of her kindness, her selflessness, her joy, her love of family and music. The world is a bit darker now that she has departed, but her light lives on in those of us that knew her. It's now up us to foster the light she shared with us and spread it to others. I was lucky to have Mrs. Pote as my 6th grade music teach at Swanson School. I am tickled to hear that she was friends with Ms. Lucey as she was my music teacher from 1st - 5th grade. Mrs. Pote helped develop my love for music.
