I am so saddened to hear the news about Kay Slides. She will truly be missed.

Kay Poland was a true stateswoman and a true Alaskan. What a State Senator should be. I was privileged to work with her on some of the great issues of our young state, and loved every minute. I will always remember Senator Poland with great affection.
