To the Welling Family-
I am a student at Miami, and was fortunate to know Kate for a short period of time. She had the rare ability to warm up a room, and stand out in a crowd. She just had something about her. I am so sorry for your tragic loss, and am keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers always.

As a resident of Oxford and Miami graduate, my family extends its deepest sympathy to the Welling family.

To the Welling Family
My heart goes out to you. I lost my only child just before Christmas. He was 18 years old, and a senior in High School. He died when he lost control of his car on an icy road. I Know the shock and grief you must be experiencing. You will be in my prayers.

To the Welling Family--
My deepest sympathy for your loss. I am one of Kate's professors, and seeing her empty chair breaks my heart every day, and that can only begin to resemble the pain you are feeling. I apologize for not being able to make it to pay my respects in person, but please know that Kate and you all are never far from the thoughts and hearts of us at Miami.

We are neighbors of Helen and Pat M. and are extremely saddened to hear of your loss. We have experienced how tight-knit and loving your extended family is and know that God's love and peace will be working through them to help you through this horrific time.

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of Katie. I was a camper with Katie at Fernwood. Her charm, smile and prescense will be greatly missed. She will always remain in our hearts.
