Not sure what to say?

Kathy was a great "go to" person for advice on raising kids. She related so well to them as a coach! Athletes always wanted to do their best because of and for her!

Second to being a "super mom", Kathy was the ultimate coach. She really knew how to motivate kids and help them develop their skills. The kids loved and respected Kathy! She was such a wonderful person. Her deep religious faith was inspiring, and she is missed!!

Blessed journey dear friend, may your spirit be filled.

Kathy was such a wonderful person, and so much fun to spend time with, whether related to sports, scouting, or church - she always gave 100% and you knew she was in your corner!! She was such a blessing to all of us!!

Kate and family, I am so sorry to hear. I really loved your Mom. You always knew where she was on the soccer sidelines or bleachers at swim meets. She was your biggest cheerleader, and I aspire to be that for my own son. Love to you all, Brandie

My mom was amazing! She was the most self less person ever.
We are having a celebration of life at st. Mary's port Huron on February 23, Friday, @11 am.

Mrs. Carey was a huge mentor to me as well as your Dad. Mrs. Carey was my Catholicism teacher and I spent many hours in her home being educated. She was a fabulous teacher and leader. My prayers and thoughts are with your family.

Kathy was one of my most earnest and accomplished Tai Chi students. I will miss her cheery smile.

Marshall, one of my grand-children and me.

Not being in the DC area, I'm the last to find out what is happening in our family. To all my Carey cousins, I send my deepest feelings of sympathy at the lost of your mother and grand-mother. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Kathy was a lovely, intelligent woman. I am glad to have known her.
