Kathy A. Fugate, nee Malinowski, age 55, suddenly, late of Lake Village, IN, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018. Loving wife of James S. Fugate. Beloved mom of James C. (Samantha) Fugate, Staci (Charles) Pennington, and Samuel Fugate; step-mom of Tara (Norvell) Rogers. Proud grandma of Leonard Roy, Evelyn Grace, and Amelia Clair; step-grandma of Flora and Bobo. Dearest daughter of Leonard and the late Ruth Malinowski. Dear sister of Larry Malinowski, Rob (Charlene) Malinowski, and Debbie (Ed) Eversten. Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Friday, January 12, 2018 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral service Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home - James E. Janusz Director 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN 46311. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery – Schererville, IN.
