Dear John and family,

I got to meet some of Kathy's family at the benefit show and it was truly an honor to meet such a caring and lovingly supportive family. You all are in my thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

For Dorothy, from pd. 6 AP English, Woodland Hills High... we're thinking of you with love and concern during this unimaginably difficult time. You know we'll be there for you now and in the future. I have no doubt that Mom is incredibly proud of you, as are we all. -- Mrs. Spag and pd. 6, your pals

Until February of this year, I was a manager at Red Lobster in Monroeville. I worked quite often with Kathy. I was truly shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. She was a wonderful, warm, and loving person. The world is truly a better place for having been graced with her presence, however short. You have my most heartfelt sympathy in this time of sorrow.

We are all deeply saddened to learn of your loss. We saw Kathy overcome so much in the past few months that showed how a strong and determined a woman she was. The love and support you all exhibithed while she was with us was truly uplifting. It was inspiring for so many of us to get to know her as she recovered.
