Not sure what to say?

Sweet Katie,
Our hearts go out to you during this terribly difficult time. There is truly nothing that can be said that can take away the hurt from losing a parent.
Just know that now she is whole again and will be watching over you, and your memories will keep her alive in your heart.

Our deepest sympathies,
The Halfhill family

Katie, Jacky, Betsy & Ernie, Kathy was a very special gal. She had a great sense of humor and a good friend. I'll always cherish our times we had together whether we were traveling together or just sharing Chinese takeout at her house. I'm in AZ and will be unable to attend her memorial tomorrow, but be asured you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Katie, your Mom was always so proud of you. Cheryl Kingsley Gilmore

May the Angels guide you to your Heavenly Father, and the Blessed Mother take you into her arms, and Jesus smile at you warmly, welcoming you home, knowing that your family and friends are at peace because you are free in your Heavenly home.

Dear Ernie, Betsy, Jacky and Katie,
I knew Kathy when she worked as Manager of Hickory Farms and I was manager of Fingers. Kathy and I became great friends and I visited your beautiful home in Elyria and Boca Raton and was at her wedding. Once our stores closed, we lost touch as people often do. But I remember her with great fondness and how full of life she was.
I treasure all the memories I have of her and I shopping, working, sunning by the pool in Florida, and going to the...

I truly believe that Kathy surpassed most life expectancy estimates of ALS patients, because she had such an important job to complete here on earth; the raising of her daughter, Katie, into the loving, giving and independent young woman that she has become. Kathy believed in the loving forgiveness of God, the value of a Catholic education, and she had the Faith to put her future, her worries, and her responsibilities into the hands of God. All our love, support and respect.

Katie: I am so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. I am in Fl. an can't make it back for the service tomorrow. I will be praying for you and your whole family, as I understand the struggle you all have been through.

Thinking of yu,

Bob Luedecking
