Not sure what to say?

I'm late to this, but, just to say, I echo the sentiments of the other contributors. Kathy welcomed me with open arms when I joined her as UNDP programme officer for Belize in 1990, my first assignment with the UN at the age of 26. She was kind, creative, enthusiastic, and a wonderful mentor and role model for me. I will never forget her.

I met Miss Kasprisin only once in my life. It was at an award ceremony in recognition of outstanding reporting on social development issues in Belize. When she handed me the award she very quietly said to me You have an incredible talent....honour it. She then invited me to visit her at her office the following week. Two days later, the local news reported her accident. Somehow, Miss Kasprisin has never left my memory. After a devastating hurricane one year ago, during a moment in which I...

Blessings Kathy for the amazing life you lead continuing to give even after your accident in Belize. You were always such an inspiring person! You are greatly missed by everyone who had ever known you. I offer my most sincere condolences to the entire family. You were blessed with loving, devoted family. May they all be fibd peace of knowing that you are no longer in pain and that you no longer have to struggle. Peace be with all of you.

have only just come across Kathy’s obituary. I had the honor of serving with her in my first job with the UN, as UNDP program officer in Belize. She was an incredibly inspiring and joyful partner in many initiatives and I am so glad to know that she was able to continue to live a full live for many years following her accident. I will miss you Kathy.

I remember being very impressed by Kathy's positive attitude and resiliency. She was a real overcomer. Hearing the story of her accident and how she wanted to move forward and experience life was very inspiring to me.

Kathy was my first supervisor when I joined UNICEF in 1989. I have been looking for her as we lost contact, now only to find out that she's gone forever. RIP Kathy!!!!!!!

I opened the TownLake YMCA pool and worked there for 10 years. Kathy's courage and strength was an inspiration to my staff and the Y members.
