Gene,
I am personally very saddened by Kathy's passing. She was always an optimistic person, especially last time I had the pleasure of seeing her at your 25th Anniversary. Our most sincere condolences go to you, Jennifer and Gene Jr. and the rest of her family,

Kathy was an inspiration to all who crossed her path. I was so privledged to become a part of her life and to be considered her friend. She will always have a very special place in my heart. I will miss her so very much.

Our hearts go out to the Lieb family during what must be a very difficult time. I will always remember Kathy's great sense of humor as we coped with all of the challenges back in the Turlock Journal days. She will be missed.
