Kathy M. Reynolds

Kathy M. Reynolds, age 56, resident of Plymouth, died Saturday, September 10, 2011, in MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital.

Born December 4, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio to Simon P. and Betty (Sergent) Blevins she had been a Shelby-Plymouth area resident the majority of her life. Kathy worked as a nurses aide with First Choice Home Health Care. She enjoyed gardening, making dolls, and was especially fond of music. Her greatest joy was her family, who she loved spending time with.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas D. Reynolds, whom she wed July 4, 1992; one son, Johnny Collins and fiance', Carlene Bagola, of Lagrange, and her daughter, Connie (Mike) Dechert of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Brandon Zeigler, Brooke Zeigler, Kyle Verburg and Gina Snyder; six brothers, Ron Blevins of San Antonio, TX; Jim (Janet) Blevins of Shelby; Bruce (Rose) Blevins of Shelby, Steve (Jennifer) Blevins of Shelby, Randy (Jennifer) Blevins of Man, WV, and Virgil Blevins of Myrtle Beach, SC, her sister-in-law, Sue Conley of Plymouth, special friends, Donna Bourne, Tina Hawkins-Thompson, Tonya Brown, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Sharon Verburg, one sister, Brenda Kay Blevins, and her niece, Keisha Blevins.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby. Rev. S.T. Adkins and Rev. Delmar Bailey will officiate with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Shiloh. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM. Memorial expressions may be made to the family.
