I taught school for a little while at Buckner Elementary in south Dallas. Teaching was not for me and Kathy helped me understand that and there was nothing wrong with me walking away from it to pursue another career. I remember her as being kind but firm and respectful to all. My condolences to her family.

Kathy was the last principal I had before I retired from BH Macon Elementary. I will always be thankful for the kindness & understanding she showed me when my mother was sick & dying & all the absences I had. She always said "family first" so I know she will be greatly missed by hers. Prayers for peace for her family.
