Wonderful person. We were friends when we were younger but we lost track of each other. This is very sad news. I can still remember frantically try to clean up our falafel mess in the kitchen before her mom came home from work.... Heartbreaking news.

I worked with Katie back at Cohen's Optical about 20 years ago. I just found out from trying to find a mutual friend/coworker and happened to scroll down her page. I am in shock right now. She was the sweetest girl I think I have ever worked with and had a smile that would light up the room. I am so sorry for your loss. We didn't keep in touch after work, but I always remembered her. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing, and am blessed to have known her.
