I never knew Katie or knew of her until I clicked a friend of a friend´s profile and saw an article about her work and life. I followed it to this obituary. I can´t stop crying. What a beautiful, rare soul, it seems, with talent and glamour but such gentleness and sensitivity beneath. The poem is so perfect, as we have all had to let go of something or someone before we were ready. I wish I could be as accomplished as Katie, or half the person it seems she was. I had photography in State high with sweet Katie. In highschool I was enamored with her beauty. She was a Barbie doll in a hot pink Abercrombie shirt and brittany spears low jeans. She was popular and i wasnt. She was so kind to me and would talk to me despite her popularity and what the cool kids thought. I will never forget the laughs we had and her beauty inside and out. She is an angel. God bless praying for her family for peace and comfort. Rip Katie
