Although I only knew her for a short time, she was one of the sweetest, most positive people I've ever met. I am so glad to have met her at all, and she is forever in my prayers.

I had the privilege of getting to know Katie many years ago through her dear friend, Jodie. After only hanging out a few times, I knew she would become my friend as well. I have many fond memories of fun times together with her and Jodie from going out to dinner, going to concerts, or just sitting in Jodie's backyard around a fire. Her happy spirit and smile were always contagious! I will so miss our fun times together and she will be deeply missed.

Love you so much Katie. You were taken away too soon and you will be dearly missed by everyone that loved and knew you. You were always a light and a ray of sunshine and always made everyone feel welcomed or happy. Thank you for the love and care you gave me and my sister when we would visit. It was always a great treat when we got to see your family. I’ll always Remy your kindness and pay it forward on to others. Love you always cousin.

We send you our love and heartfelt prayers that you may find the strength you need to get through each day. Life does not make sense and losing someone as young and loving as Katie is tragic. We will miss her immensely.
